La Bellasera Twilight
Late last year I had the pleasure of doing an intersting shoot in the Paso Robels area. While we were there we stayed in La Bellasera Hotel & Suites, a relativly new hotel that caters to wine tasting clientele during that season. Fortunately this was late December and it was a bit chilly for the wine tasting crowd so we were able to stay in an absolutely beautiful room for a great deal. Now that some of the bigger projects so far this year are done I have time to work on my own self promotions and look back at some of the shots I took just for fun during other jobs. So far this is one of my favorites!

The Getty Center Magical Sunset
The Getty Center is as beautiful as the art it contains. This was about twenty minutes after sunset with a nice glow in the western sky. This spot by the fountain in front of the West Pavillion is one of my favorites but there are many spectacular views to choose from.

Sunken Gardens Twilight
A wonderful spot any time of day, the Courthouse Sunken Gardens
take on a magical quality at night. The lighting makes for
wonderful photo opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.
I like to experiment with architectural photography later in the
evening than might seem to work. As long as there is still blue in
the sky to complement the buildings it's a good time for photos.

Courthouse Clocktower from the Garden Balcony
Another in a series of Santa Barbara Courthouse images I have been preparing for an upcoming project.
This is the view from the balcony above the Courthouse Sunken Gardens looking toward the Clocktower. The evening was early enough to still get all the beautiful details of the architecture, but late enough to see the beautiful landscape lighting.
