Poppy BudsI used to take off a little early for work, just to go take pictures. This was one of the shots I got at La Cumbre Plaza, on upper state street. I actually got quite a few nice shots from those morning trips through there. |

Evening PoppyI like to take pictures when the sun is low in the sky. The shadows are much more interesting. These Poppies are always beautiful subjects, but to just snap a photo of a white flower in the middle of the day would make for a pretty boring picture. The shadows here accentuate the shapes of the flower and add even more interest to an already beautiful flower. |
