In keeping with my recent architectural theme!
I'm really enjoying those night shots!

Walking in Carmel
I thought about taking a photo like this before I found the specific
subject. My fish-eye lens is an interesting tool, but you have to
think a little more about the composition when using it.
Since it is so wide compared to a "normal" lens or your normal
point of view, it makes everything look further away.
My idea was to put flowers in the foreground with a larger subject
behind them. Since the lens can make a larger subject less interesting
by including too much. You have nothing to focus on then.
The lens was less than an inch from the flower at the bottom of the photo.

Santa Barbara Courthouse Sunset
The Spanish Style of the Santa Barbara Courthouse makes a
beautiful subject at any time. But in the evening the lighting makes it spectacular.

State and Anapamu
A little rain and lights at night make for some nice pictures.
This is a great spot on State Street in Santa Barbara. I
was right in front of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
Diagonally across the street is a great restaurant called
the State & 'A'.

Eat at Joe's
This is about a two minute exposure while wandering on
State Street one night. Joe's neon is kind of a land-mark
in downtown Santa Barbara.

Arcada Ficus
Another night picture in La Arcada Court. That is not the sun
at the top of the picture, it's a light on the bottom of a
foot bridge between the buildings.

Grace Lutheran
Tonight I am working on my church's website.
We recently had the grounds landscaped and
have made some other improvements which made
a good opportunity for some photos.
If all goes well you should be able to see the
finial results in a few hours at www.GraceLutheran.net
