Listada de Gandia Reflection
A beautiful Heirloom Eggplant from the Santa Barbara Farmers Market. This beauty was purchased for my upcoming food photography art show, part of First Thursdays in Santa Barbara. The show will be displayed at the office of Casa Magazine in downtown Santa Barbara and the reception will be First Thursday (of course) the sixth of October at 5 to 8pm and is open to the public. Casa will also be having a Flan contest judging at the same time.

Holly Berries
More specifically Winterberry Holly.
It gets this name from the fact that
the berries come in late autumn and
stay through the winter. But the leaves
don't! So, through the winter
the bush (more like a tree) is covered
only with these beautiful red berries.
Yet another bit of botanical expertise supplied by my beautiful wife!
She also took a picture of me taking this picture, maybe someday I'll
post it here too... maybe not. :-D
