This is a close up of one of our latest plants.
It is a small cascading bonsai tree. Unfortunately
the wires were a little tight, so I had to loosen them
but not before I got a few cool shots!
Hi, noticed your bonsai, I have a "Florida sweetgum"-live in Ocala where I found a tiny seedling (two cotyledon leaves) hoping it was from the mother tree. It was and now it is @ 6-9 months I'd say, and I want to know how "easy" this specimen is to make into a bonsai. I love the leaves and it did change color in the fall, dropped leaves and now new are coming in. I have it in a regular pot, but have a bonsai pot. Read articles about "shaping & wiring your bonsai* seems too hard to understand and get right. Any helpful hints would be most appreciated. Will do my best as it takes years to form a bonsai, and so far so good - it's still alive and thriving in my dining room by the glass door. Thanks!
