California SunsetSanta Barbara (where we live) is beautiful in general, don't get me wrong. And, I have heard people try to extol the virtues of our south facing beach. But you just don't get a sunset like this off of a south facing beach! Laguna SunsetMy friend has taken up Sumi-e Ink painting and she is quite good at it. (I'll add some links once she has her images online.)I think this image has a bit of Japanese art feel to it. Although, it would probably have to have fewer branches to qualify. Perhaps this one is a little closer. Moonlit LagunaThis shot was taken after dark, lit only by the nearly full moon. I have been experimenting with evening and night time exposures. This was a twenty minute exposure on Fuji Velvia. |
